Well we are back home now. Here are some pictures of camp. Enjoy!!!!!

A blog from Taylor and Shauna

Well right now we are at Anja's house. She is the Slovene girl that Shauna is staying with. Both Shauna and I have had wonderful home stays. My stay with Tadeja was amazing!!!! Her family is soooo wonderful! Unfortunately I did not have enough time to spend with her. Maybe if Shauna and I are blessed to come next year we will get to see lots more of her! Yesterday we took a team trip to Salzburg, Austria. It was pouring down rain but it was soooo much fun!!!! Salzburg is famous for Mozart, chocolate, and the Sound of Music. To celebrate the Sound of Music, Shauna, Kitty, and I took lots of "cuckoo" pictures in the rain. We also had a wonderful lunch there. I had sausages, sauerkraut, and strudel. It was AWESOME!!!! On the way back there was a huge thunder and lightning storm that we drove through. The lightning was incredible. It's probably the biggest lightning I've ever seen. Thankfully even though it was stormy God gave us a safe drive back to Kranj. Tonight we are going to Joel and Amy's house to have one last night with the students before we fly out tomorrow morning. Please pray for our last time with them and also that we would have a safe flight back to the states since they have been having such terrible storms in Eastern Europe! Thank you. Love to all our friends and family. We will see you tomorrow!

The Amazing Race ended at the Wonderful Slovenia coast line! It was so beautiful!

Back from camp!

Hey all! Camp just got over and I am sitting here with Matic at his house. Camp was awesome! So many good stories and new memories! Here is Matics favorite story from this year. During the Amazing race Joel was sitting on a wall by a huge bell tower and he had been there for a long time.
He was already sunburned and so we offered him some cold water. _But then soon another two teams came and we started acting, that we were fooled by Joel. Here are some awesome pictures from camp! Isnt this photographer amazing_

To my parents: Hey I realized that I actually don't have your new email address which is a little funny. I think I know what it is but will you email me at one of my email addresses to make sure that I have it right or that you received my email messages. Thanks so much. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! Oh and give Molly a big kiss for me and tell her I miss her lots. I think it's great she has a new friend. Please don't let him eat her.

PS To everyone else at home we are having an AMAZING time in Slovenia. As you can probably see from the pictures we got to hang out with some of the Slovene students yesterday at a bbq after church on Sunday. I had no idea how much I missed them until I saw them again. We picked up talking like old friends. Shauna and I both commented on how it felt like we had never left Slovenia. The whole team is very excited for camp tomorrow! We can definitely feel that there is a lot of darkness here and it has been a pretty big burden. Please pray for that as some of the team is really being hit hard with some things. Kitty, Tom, and Gloria, we were waiting for our lunch, Kabobs, a Slovene favorite.

So after a long and I mean long trip to Slovenia we are here safe and
sound! We had to wait 6 hours in Portland and another 8 in Frankfurt but we
made it! Then on top of that they lost my bag which I just got back today.
But the last few days have been amazing and I cant wait for camp to start!
God has just so good to us bring us love and support in all directions.
Church today was amazing! Its always a gret experiance to worship in
another lanuage. I got to see Tod again! Thats fo those of you who went
last year! And I finally got some Ice cream! That made me happy! We also
got the chance to connect with a handfull of students that we met last
year! We had a picnic after church and got to sit and talk with Alex, Anja
V., Jernej, Tilen, Alija, and žan. Thats right this keyboard is cool and
can make those letters! Anyways I got to go watch a movie with Phillip and
Allen. (Phillip is Drago son. Drago is the pastor of the church in Kranj.
And Allen is his friend.) Hope life is good for you all!
